Its been sprayed all over the lower half of my mk1 :cry:

..and i'd like to remove it to show the original colour :-D

The best option is a wire-wheel,followed by full paint and protection treatment. But thats not what you intend,is it? I dont think you're going to be removing just the underseal to reveal nice original paint in a hurry. Maybe you can warm it up and scrape it off,then clean the remains off with some spirit-based adhesive cleaner and hope you can save the paint underneath with a polish. But its old paint,and i suspect this is a job that needs doing from the metal - there's likely to be hidden rust under there,even if only minor.

If it's it's the black sticky crap, then white spirit might shift it.

iv used a really hot pressure wash before to melt it off!

hot air gun,scraper and lots of time :)
