I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if I make a few mistakes at first.

Other than that, yup I'm another new proud owner of a Polo woohoo!! :-D

Right on to the questions:

I currently have a VW Polo 9n with only front electric windows and standard car sterio system inside [The Beta version with the single cassete din]. Though I'm looking to install some speakers in the back doors, as I've noticed that the car only has two large speakers in the front and the small tweakers on the front pillers. Is this possible to do, what size and connection type speakers could I install and would I need to do any rewire/additional wiring to the current speaker wiring. If so please could you explain how. I've got a 9n too. Got alpine components all round (front doors, standard position) (Rear quarters standard position + tweeters in standard position) and also front tweeters in standard position in the A pillars. Got a Pioneer headunit driving them and a vibe 10" in the back for the bass.

3 or 5 door? 5 Door is a bit tricky as its the same as a 6n2, they didnt come with rear speakers at all. Not sure about the 9n however.

dont worry about rear door speakers mate, just get the good front components and then get a small sub or bass tube, or even 6x9s in the parcel shelf and it'll sound good

Thanks for your help Dubgarry, but if i did get some 6 by 9's in the parcel shelf, would i have to disconnect the existing speakers i've got in the front or can they be linked up paralel to the front ones? and what connections / cables would i need to use [eg. coaxil etc.]? sorry i'm not very good at this speaker stuff, so forgive me if I sound a bit dumb.
