Filler?

Featured Replies

Mate has a car that has been repaired before. Bit of the old filler has chipped of and is in need of filling and re-spraying, I'm ok with the spraying part, but the filling is were my question lies.

What filler should I use, is primer required, what grade/type of sandpaper should be used?

Thanks in Advance.

Bump anyone? I wanted to do the repair today?

well depending on how deep the crack/hole ??? is i would say try and knock it out if possible so its less filler in there, but maybe use isopon 38 easy sand the easiest to pick up and also the cheapest, but some of the rage gold fillers are the best stuff to use

Done it today...Had to use filler for around a 0.5cm thickness, covering a area of about 5cm. Old filler had chipped off Used some localte stuff, got it from halfrauds. Really wanted to finish it tonight but didn't have the energy to. Primed and Painted, ready for a quick wet and dry and polish :D
