squeaky front brake

Featured Replies

My drivers side brake is squeaking quite badly, but it's not always constant.

I've tried removing it several times and putting it all back with copper grease on the back of the pads and have cleaned all the disc etc. But after awhile it will start squeaking again.

Is it a case of needing new pads as they are not that old and have plenty of wear left on them? or something else?

Is there any way of stopping it?

Cos its bloody annoying

my corrado had this problem once. it was from a bent hub, caused by a garage not tightening the hub nut properly after a cv joint change. only showed up abut 6 months later

I've had a look at the pads and the inside one was worn un-evenly, so I've evened it out now so will see how that goes.
