I paid £11.95 from a motorfactors down the road for one after doing exactly the same job on a friends polo couple of days ago. Word of warning keep the nut because nowhere stocks the correct thread size anymore.

Yea, do NOT loose the nut. I had to replace it 'cos the nut was siezed to the old track rod end, so had to be cut off. Hence useless nut. And a scrapyard visit tomorrow, because can you buy a new nut? Can you hell...

Most decent motor factors should do them, even better if you find an old skool one run by and old bloke that never seems to shift any stock and isnt aimed at chavs!

GSF is where I got mine from for £14 (with both nuts)

surely VAG still do them???

Vag £28

Right, dont get one from vag then!

Shame your miles away. I have a pair of nearly new ones that I won't be needed. But by the time postage and paypal fees come into it, it'll be cheaper for you to buy new ones!

I got one from a breakers today £4.90 i was shocked they were so cheap.
