bottoming out on trackrod end arms

just dropped ma g40 about 70mm i think, and now when i go over speed bumps quite hard the inner wing bottoms out on the arm that is part of the strut (that the trackrod end bolts to)? wierd ey? just wondered if anyone else has had this problem? cheers.

Remove the arch lining! I'm assuming that this is what it's catching on?

Not weird considering you are shortening the strut and the steering arms are not lowered.

Yup...70mm with standard position steering arms is a bit too low. They take on funny angles with 60mm of lowerage...be funny to see anything more than this.

any ideas on what i could do?

get the arms that come off the strut lowered, like they do on coilovers.

this will correct the steering geometry making it much better
