that prob is the limit, ? I've seen 195/45 on a saxo, that looked over the top though mate.

hi i had a set of 175/50/15 on my old ats cups. they gave a good stretch but they were only 7J

There is such a thing as overstretching... Not safety wise, but looks wise. Personally, it looks wank.

Although... Acky has 195s on a 9 and it looks mental. In a good way.

So what 185/45 on a 8.5 be a MAD stretch u reckon?

i personally don't like running the stretch i have but the tyres came with the wheels so i thought i'd use them! i wouldn't go as far to say its a MAD stretch but i wouldn't take it on a track day with them like that!

i run 195/45/15 toyo's on my 8.5" RS's and it gives good stretch and i dont feel to worried giving it some beans around bends

On an 8.5? Yes.

run some 195/45s, trust, still look sweet on the stretch, but on the rim enough to ba able to drive hard!!!!

185/45 is mental stretch on an 8.5j rim, my 185/45s looked sweet on a 7j, 7.5 would have been the limit i would have gone with those tyres, so 1j bigger is mental!!!
