well i always get weird problems

I'm running standard g40 brakes on front and disk conversion on back mk3 golf calipers

Now my brakes are working, when foot is pressed the brakes coem on fine, they feel a bit shit but nothing too bad

When engien isnt runnign i can press pedal and it feels very firm

now over last 2 weeks i have had to fill my reservoir up 3times now, i fill it up, cap seals all fine, these is no way it can get out, but it is!!!!

i have fettled the calipers and cant feel any leaks, i have also checked all connections and pipes, no leaks, no signs at all...

its god damn odd

all i can think is maybe air is in lines, so it is suckign it in or something, ah i dont know I'm all out of ideas!

Did you bleed the system right through to make sure there is no air in the lines?

fronts i had to swap so there maybe air in yeah, but i cant see how it would use up so much fluid...

have you got someone to push the pedal down hard while you look for any fluid leaking out under pressure?

if you have been playing about with the master cylinder/servo make sure that rod has actually gone into the MC.

if not then like hayesey says. pump the pedal and check for leaks

yeah I've pumped it no leaks, i swapped master cylinder but yeah did get it in right...

is the reservoir itself ok? mine had cracked somehow round the bottom. I only noticed it when I changed the master cylinder.

my pedal sometimes went to the floor, other times it would be fine.

was told it was a MC issue. Although I replace MC, brake pipes etc in one hit so I cant say if that the remedy

Wrap the MC/Resevoir in kitchen roll and see if leaks

reservoir is fine there is no signs at all of any leak, brake fluid is the easiest to spot i know as it always looks wet...

Its not leaking out of the rear of the m/c into the servo is it, I've seen this before, but that would make the pedal hard when pumped with the engine running!!??

not from what i can see, and when engine off it is firm aswell, its fuckin crazy!

seems to be my week of being a numpty, on fitting the master cylinder, i did put that pin down middle, is there a right and wrong way to do it, coz i know how to do it wrong, how do i do it right?

the pin bit on mine is quite loose, is it suppose to be?
