basically i brought some premier performance dials from jon s i reckon they look mint only thing is everytime i swap the faces over the speedo works but says I'm doing 60 wen I'm doin 30ish and wen stopped the speedo needle doesnt sit on the pin.

also my right hand side dash light l.e.d doesnt work all the time its an intermitent fault. and my temp needle doesnt budge at all i no the holes in the pp faces are not 2 small so the needle isnt getting stuck on them my feul gauge goes up n down fine

what is going on??? I'm screwing here cus this is the 3rd set now and ther still buggered.

To reset the speedo needle after fitting some custom dial faces on my clocks, I firstly removed the needle carefully using a fork. If you then place the needle on so the the tip sits on the under side of the needle rest, then carefully bend the needle over the rest it should sit on the rest without any problems.

As for the LED it sounds like a connection problem. It might be as well to remove the 6 screws on the back of the clocks and take a look at the LEDs with some help from Steve_Os guide in the FAQ section.

The temperature needle sounds like either the gauge is genuinely fault, or you may need a new black temperature sender (about £18 from VW with O-ring). If you have your original set of clocks to hand I would put the temp/fuel gauge from those in the Premier clocks and swap the faces first to rule out the clocks.
