Greetings

Just registered to this forum, I'm from portugal and i'm the proud owner of a 1992 Polo GT Squareback with a G40 heart.

Engine has a lot of mods, about 170-180bhp

Here are some pics my pocket rocket :

Hope you guys like and i hope to get some advice of styling and some stuff like side exhaust etc

Here is the latest video shot today, with low boost of course cos of the toothies installed that are larger than my old 60mm pulley.. will tune it ASAP, i want 58mm toothies or as near as possible to 60mm ;)

hope you guys like and post comments to this crap !

welcome to the forum. quite a sleeper you have yourself there.

Bet you catch a few people unawares.

hahaha loving that mate, nice and stealth...

do they drive around like in portugal like they do in turkey and spain etc! if so you need a bit of power to avoid some sticky situations so that babies perfect!

respect for keeping her proper subtle again, black badge, pressed plates, thats all i can spot...

can you get an engine bay shot dude?

hi

yes this was red demon's, i am a friend of the previous owner, this was the original g-van who trashed all the hondas, saxos, gti's, the first.

Now is more powerfull but what i like most is drag races and some bends i never did more than 210Km/h in it. It was rumored that this gt could achieve 260km/h and a lot of people told it was truth.

on my hands the project will continue, day after day i hope, and now is getting proper care, spent 1000€ on engine bay / chassis reinforcement (could not handle the power) and got some ajustments to do the boost it was intended to do (1bar). Upgrades coming soon.

I love the grill, sorry, it is much better looking now than it was on the pics, it was resprayed in black.

My philosophy in my polo is to leave weight at the minimum so i dont even have a sound system, i will be throwing out my g40 interior too to fit some bucket seats and may be a half-rollcage

I dont have pictures of the engine bay sorry, but even the engine bay looks almost stock, this car is purpose built for speed and to vanish in front of other cars :p not pimp my ride style, always clean and stealth look !

The engine was built and is serviced and mantained by a ex- g40 cup mechanic, well long story this car has hehe

gtg

ps. need pics of vans to take some ideas, anyone with a side exhaust polo van ?

thanks !

welcome to the forum!!!

lookin sweet, proper sleeper!

welcome great looking car! and FASSSSST! :lol:8-)

sleeper style really is the future... love the power figures should be a reet laugh and think a debadged grill with the g40 sign sprayed black would look great

Looks awesome! I'm building something similar myself. Even down to having the roof bars! Mine will be a little less suttle though.

Good to see people from all over the world are joining the club :D :D

I understand as I'm going to do some mods that will leave it a bit less subtle.

When i bought it, i used it as a daily drive for a couple of months but now it is just for drive fast once in a while, to have a bit of a laught against other cars.

I'm planning on some body work , some weight loss, may be some wheels etc

I will make it more hardcore, less of a road car and more race-like.

^ Yeah, mine is going to be more of a toy to play with, not so much a daily car. It will get road use, but not every day. Won't be comfortable for daily use

ultimate street sleeper! , like it! 8-)

here is some experiment i did with one of the pics a couple of months ago, the main goal was to see the difference with 15" bbs wheels

I'm having some hard time getting pictures (to take ideas) of mk3 square backs around the net...

Red deamon was the name from the previous owner.. a friend of mine. This van has little to do with "rotativo". He built the 1st version.. not even the engine is the same, rotativo engine blew a piston. He is good but pushed to much @ the ignition timings i think, that was the time the van could do 260km/h.

Now has other tune spec. But it has never been so strong.

cheers m8

Here are the latest (not the best) pictures i got from the machine..

Yesterday the single wiper and toothies were installed, so the pics do not show the latest state of the "project"
