just got it of flea-bay. needs fair bit o work but i not daunted by it. lookin for a clutch release arm (its a 1043cc 4 speed) and a dash as some1 has cut a massive hole in the one i got. Also would be interested in a set of square headlights and grille (i think off a classic saloon?) many thanks fellow polo nuts!!!

edit: got clutch arm sorted now, many thanx to kev for that. now looking for front and rear bumpers in good nick, cheerz peeps :biggrin:

Did you ever track down a set of square saloon headlights & grill? There used to be a guy in my area rolling around with a set of crystal square lamps on his mk2 coupe so I know they exist, but finding somewhere that sells them is proving tricky...

there worth a small fortune I've got a set had them for years but most people offer silly money for them so if yopu give me a good price there yours, got the grille with chrome strip aswell, also breaking a mk2 hatch so got a lot of spares, got a mint dash aswell from a 35k car removed and all,

Mate sorry not replied sooner been on holiday most of this month! If you're willing to sell the grille and lights that'd be ace. Spent loadsa my wage on my car already this month so might have to wait a couple more weeks before i buy them off you. Being the dumb s@#t that i am i totally forgot about the dash you mentioned, i'd take that off your hands aswell bud. How does 120 quid sound for the lights, grille and dash? Let us know thankooo
