JUST PULL

JUST PULL

whoo hoo. someone else restoring their G interior. I'm so proud of mine now that i darent take the plastic sheets off them lol.

^^^^^^ ditto, just had my rear bench and backrest re-dyed,still got covers on them two weeks later.

Yea they pull out,try wiggling them side to side as you pull up,they'll come out a little easier.

how did you re-dye them? the top of my rear bench could do with it actually

dan i read you are post and it didnt look bad so i did it myself used a passenger seat foam for the drivers seat much better now.Could also do with mine redying so I'd be interested where you got yours done phill.i couldnt get mine out so i lifted the material and hit them out with a hammer and drift then realied theres a king pin thing inside the plastic piece

just pull the seat covers off then use a light fabric wax rubbed into the seat patterns to prevent the green bits going black ,throw covers into the washing machine with the dye and wash on a cold cycle.

Worked really well ,but then i realised i couldn't do the same to the doorcards so i got some VHT vinyl dye in aerosol form and just spray dyed the rear bench giving a much better colour imo.

I still need to do my front seats and doorcards when i find the time. The rear seats are now a lovely black as opposed to the faded purple they were.
