Perspex windows?

Featured Replies

Me and a mate are currently stripping a mk2 golf to make into a trackday car. We have already begun stripping most bits out of it including interior and carpets and carpet glue. We really want to shed as much weight as possible.

Which brings me onto the idea of perspex or Polycarb windows. Where can you buy these. Do they come pre-cut or do you make them yourself from a sheet?

Any help appreciated........ 8-)

^^ them guys are great i ordered all my moini glass through them need it came really quick seen as it was a custom job

Best to rivet them to the window-frame flange if they arrive flat,as my seals are showing fatigue whilst trying to hold my polycarbonate windows curved - the window wants to straighten, and is therefore pushing against the top and bottom of the seal.

I bought mine in sheets from some bloke on ebay. Was miles cheaper than anywhere else, did have to cut it all out myself mind but it's pretty easy to do.

Got mine from the Hayes-meister for my mk2 golf

Total cost for all the windows? £65
