Changing 8v rear bumper

Featured Replies

Hi people,

I am trying to take the 8v rear bumper off my car, I have taken all 8 screws out but something seems to be holding it on around the bottom. Is it just the locating pins being stubborn? Is there a tecnique of taking them off?

Cheers for the help. Tried a bit of yanking but it still seems to be fixed on somehow.

in the bottom at the centre theres a plastic pic i think that holds it too i believe,,,other than that I'm not sure mate.

i had this problem when i took mine off.

i had to pull the to ends out first where they meet the arch, so they hang lose. Then when you pull the bumper off the locating pins itll just pull off.

Thats what happened with mine anyway.

Kind of got em like that, but then they just wouldn't pull off! Really annoying as I don't know what is holding it on at all. It should just be hanging on the locating pins.

when you get all the screws out then pull the top of the 8v and u will find 4 clips near the bottom of the bumper get a long flat screwdriver on them it work 4 me
