Recently had a sony cd player fitted an it was working fine.All of a sudden it stopped getting power unless i pushed the key right into the ignition, now its not working at all n i dunno where to start.Iv tried changing the adaptor from the cd player to the wiring loom.Iv changed fuses in the stereo and car but nothings happened.Any help would be appreciated

sounds like it could have something to do with the connection to the ignition live to me? assuming that the ignition live is running straight from the ignition barrel. trace the ignition live all the way back and look for dodgy connections. hope this sorts it :)

Thanks danny.Had a look into that an i think your right cause i put the original headunit back in and if i wiggle the key around it works.Any recomendations on what i should do cause iv checked everythings connected ok and it seems fine. Dunno alot about wiring and pretty new to working on electrics and doing more to my car.Anyones experiences or knowledge would be great
