what rear set up do i use to convert the mk2 or mk3 over to discs as i cant remember I've got a passat gt with rear discs will they do, i no i need to make up a handbrake cable etc, oh and its purely for show i no they dont help braking,

they dont help the braking? with 239x10mm brakes on the back it will be overbraked on the back end unless you adjust the compensator valve or have a bias valve fitted.

what age passat gt is it? the ones to have are mk3 golf ones, they're less prone to seizing. you can also use mk4 golf ones which are alloy
