Well Just today I noticed after a 2 hour drive to north london, I had lost alot of air in the back passenger side wheel...Filled it up again to 30...Few hours later on my way back home it had lost 6psi. So I think its a slow puncture, the tyre itself I can see no damage on it. Scrubbing could have caused a small hole in the tyre? Any one know good places around Croydon to take it too? Its a streched dunlop 195/45/14 over a 14x8 rim, get it replaced or repaired?

Its more than likely the tyre has a poor seal on the rim, particularly if its stretched like that.

Its very unlikely that you would actually puncture the tyre due to it scrubbing.

True but it was low enough where it was scrubbing against the arch a hell of a lot, getting it checked out this morning...Hopefully its not a shagged tyre.....

Mine are onloy 165/50 over a 6.5 but they keep leaking as well. Place that did them are complete amateurs. First time they didn't seal, second time they sealed 1 but the rest don't seal. Plus they have knackered the outer lips, spent an hour on each one trying to make them perfect. Came up okay, but not perfect.

Need to get them done AGAIN now.

Just went to the place I usually go, all sorted 15 quid...Was a small pinhole in the tyre....

Scrubbing does damage the tyre (aswell as the body),but its more likely it will wear through and then blow out,than merely leak air whilst in the early stages of damage.

If leakage is a problem due tin the tyre being stretched,it might be worth filling the leaky tyre/s with tyreseal. Let most of the air out,fill,immediately top up to desired pressure,then cruise around town for an hour. But make sure the valves are tight first - classic.
