MK3 Foglights

I found these foglights in a local motor spares shop, the dimensions of the foglight unit are exactly the same as the protruding section of the foglight cutouts in a mk3 bumper. They seem to have a round mount at the top to allow you to mount them either flush with the bumper (at a slight angle) or sitting vertically.

Apart from the fact that they aren't VAG kit and so lose out on oem whorage points, is there any reason why they shouldnt work on a mk3?

They do work.. my mate had them.. Just not OE so are frowened upon.. thats it!

You lose out on OEM points but gain pikey points so I think it's a fair deal.

I'm toying with the idea of round spotlights. Might take mine off my Disco and run them on the Polo lol.

Well I'm not after scene points so its all good, just fancy having some fogs. Can always become an oem whore at a later date!

Fogs are a waste of time. Big spotlights. Much more useful.

like your avatar lol. I will sell my VAG one's for £533 not inc P+P tho, i heard this is the going rate because they are soooooooooooooooo rare. Anyone?

lol

£535 posted?

And yes yeha if you go for function over form. If i was using them for rally stages perhaps, but i only want them to break up the bumper a little, as much as to provide some illumination.

I've just fitted 130w bulbs, much better lol
