I'm after some help too fit my front shocks and put a new tie rod end on. I'm in pirbright near guilford. one side driveshaft nuts being a bitch too undo but the other ones ok. i can pay some one too do it at the end of the month on the fri but really need it done by then. I'd rather pay someone on here too do it than go too a garage.

easiest thing to do, cut off a length of exhaust pipe, or get a long bar. Buy a breaker bar from any tool place (£15 or so, will come in well handy when working on the car as well) Join them together and end up with a 6foot long ratchet!

Wack the handbrake on and start pushing!

If however, it was like my first polo and that didn't work (end up rolling the car through and destroying the handbrake it was that fused ) then just undo the driveshaft at the gearbox and work on it that way (was what had to be done with mine :()
