Last night i was bored and having a black boot on a white car at the min due to some vandles i thaught why not get some 800 & 1000 & 1200 grit and try and matt the boot ...

I think it looks unbelelievebly cool due to the smashing shine of the rest of the car due to a respray ..

How do i get all the slight sanding marks out of the paintwork ?? I was so carefull and the paintwork is unbelievebly smooth ..

Any ideas ??

lots of water with 2000 grit, then G3 with water, then wash, dry and polish if desired.

If you 2000 then G3 it surely it will just come up shiney again as thats what you do the wet flat a car when you want to remove light scratches!

the only way you will get a tidy matt finish is with matt paint sanding the paintwork will always look like the pain hs been sanded.

Ahh i see .. Cheers anyway guys .. You cant see too much etching on the paintwork anway just wanted to make it perfect .. I took my time when sanding it and consentrated on using long strokes in a uniform diraction .
