I own a '98 mk4 and.....

i have found some nice bbs alloy wheels that already have tyres fitted and was not sure whether

they would fit my car, the size is 205/45/16 as i do not want my car to rub badly, will they fit?

also i would like to lower my car in the future and was wondering what is a good amount of

lowerage that is still usable/practical for everyday useage etc?

advice and guidance please...............

We tried 205/50/15s onto a lowered 6N and it rubbed like a slut. The wheels must have been about ET30.

with those tyres it will rub

195/40 R16 is what you want ideally... or if you dont want to go too low (<45mm) then 195/45

but then its down to offset and width as well
