deamon tweeks sell them... do you mean the adaptor frame things? if so if you buy your seats new then the place you buy them from will sell them and places that sell bucket seats can get them you

well I'm just going to buy 2 bucket seat

but I'm looking for a frame that be able to slide in to the runners of the old seat

ahh so you want the whole subframe... have you got your std seats? as if so you can use the runners off them and a adapter plate inbetween teh subframe and bucket... it will be alot cheaper using existing subframes

yeah i got my old seats so

is it a matter of taking the old seat of the frame buying some adpter plates and bolting togher

sounds cheaper then i ws thinking

lol was thinking i had to get some stupily expensive ones

thanks bud

yer u take you are std seat subframes off you std seats get some seat mounts that wll fit your std runners and your bucket seats and bolt the lot back together

SSSOOORRRTTTEEEDDD lol

good luck

word of warning do not use subframes made by cobra, theor seats are ok, but the frames are crap. I bought a set bout 5 years ago (so its possible they have improved), but basically they were to high so the seat near enough touched the headlining and they looked more homemade than the homemade ones you sometimes see for sale on here! if i were you i would try and source some crappy old polo seats, cut the frame off and make your own. you dont neeed to be able to weld (but its prob the best method)as you can nut and bolt or rivit any bits you need to add on to them to make them fit the new seats. at least then you dont have to wreck your std seats

corbeau subframes are too high too, i found out after spending £140 on some subframes!

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm getting a new frame custom welded in by a friend of mine as I'm not a small bloke and my seats are properly high so he's doing it so they sit nice and low :D

Baha, i remember a friend of mine had luike spider legs with wheels on the end, just forced it in, he seats had like 1.5ft fresh air between them and the headlining.

I've got some modified to sit lower which will be for sale next week
