My address:

MK3 1.1l Polo Coupe : £2000

MK3 Polo GT : £3800

my dads address:

MK3 1.1l Polo Coupe : £1200

MK3 Polo GT : £2000

so am really consedring insuring at my dads address, because its A HELL of a lot and it is mental consedering my dads is a pub address. Anyone know any good insurance companies that have provided you with cheap quotes?

if you had the option that would you go for the 1.1l or the GT ?

Because of the difference in price i'd go for the 1.0.

Sure they aren't exactly quick, but can be made quite nippy up to the legal limit with a few tweaks, that your insurance company wouldn't be able to tell. Not that I'm suggesting insurance fraud of course...

But if you've got the money to burn, then go for a GT. You'll get better fuel economy, they are quite nippy, fun to drive and sound pretty damn good as well.

I'd suggest going for the 1.0l aswell. Then you can save the £800 you would have spent insuring the GT and either mod the 1.0 or put it aside to insure a faster car next year when you have a years no claims.

And like tobyk said, the 1.0 arent that fast to start with but after just £90 spent on mine it is alot quicker than standard.
