Having trouble with scrubbing so I'm getting my arches rolled.. the guy seems to know what he is talking about but he says that he does it with a hammer... I'm a bit worried about the bloke leaving me with fucked paint.

Also does arch rolling include pullin the arch out a little bit? because i think my car would need it.

rolling takes the lip off the inside of the arch, you want a little flaring done to, that'll pull out the arch slightly.

shouldnt be using a hammer on arches, that'lll crack the paint.

the place i was gna get mine done use a heat gun to warm up the metal (but not damage the paint) and then a tool that mounts onto the hub and rolls a perfect circle, i have no pics, but seen the tool, looks like a nice piece of kit.

DONT LET HIM NEAR THE CAR WITH A HAMMER

make your own flaring tool... theres a guide in a section somewhere... I've made my own haha

Also i aint gonna spend more money on rims that wont look as good.. ill try and find that arch rolling guide which tells you how to make your own

Found this on youtube, have seen this done elsewhere and it works, as for using a hammer, sounds a bit brutal IMO.

did it on my m8s 200sx worked a treat evan and just chip sticked the inside where it ha been sreaped but works great

using a hammer will crack your paint i used it on my arches but then again i didnt care if the paint crack as I'm respraying it best thing to do is get smaller tyres and go from there.

A Bloke did mine with a hammer and some form of moulded foam thingy on the outside of the arch .. worked a treat .. no cracking or owt ..

Paint was new aswell ..

I think i got off real lucky .. he had done it nuff times before aswell ..
