I'm trying to refurb my centras this afternoon. I've used nitromors and I've got rid of all the laquer, the alloys

arent painted, just laquered straight over the alloy like a lot of oldskool wheels.

There are black bits on the wheel which is salt corrosion, how do i get rid of these marks?

what I'd try to do is to sand out the marks till it was back to the good metal. Then if you're painting, prep and paint. As kam says, would be an idea to see the marks and for you to explain the finish you're after.

I just wanted to get the salt marks off the alloys and then have them in the same condition, minus the salt marks.

get them recut, you will have to remove a good mm to get down to the clean metal, theres no other way to do it if you wanna keep the diamond cut finish

Will any refurb place be able to recut them?

most good ones will do, but its not cheap. those wheels look like they would be worth spending the money on them. try pm'ing rocco-jocco he sells a lot of refurbed wheels esp diamond cut ones! he may be able to sort you out

Ahh cool, I've just sent some pictures to a refurb company, see what they quote!
