I've just bought a pair of VW G40 specific TCA's for my car. I see that on ETOS the steering arms are also specific to the G40. Can anyone tell me why this is?

Next question: does anyone know if the rose joints are replaceable...or does it require a new arm?

should be replaceable. you can buy rose joints from most bearing factors, the ones on the steering arms and TCAs are just spherical bearings held in with circlips usually
