Noticed last nite that when my ignition is off and i flick the indicator stalk to left or right, the front side light for that side comes on? Any ideas as to why?

Also my rear window demist doesnt appear to work and the light on the switch doesnt come on, changed the switch but no joy. - Does it have its own fuse? haven't got an owners manual and my haynes manual is still in super snail mail from amazon.

The sidelight thing isn't a fault. Go and look round the back - you'll see the light comes on at the back too. It's called a parking light, and it's for parking in places where you want to make sure that any traffic approaching your parked car can see how far it sticks out into the road when you're street parked. Much better than them ploughing into it.
