In the scuttle tray in front of the fuse box and near the ECU.

iiirc its a white plug

Yes it is white. Anyone know where you can get the loom end that fits into it? I need to make a loom up for mine and dont want to hack into the loom in the car.

If your not fussed about colour Sam, i.e a black plug into the existing white plug then just pop down your local scrappy and hunt out a corrado, I found the necessary two pin plug on a 16v rado, part of the lighting loom iirc.

The other two connectors can be found more easily, these are on most 90's vdubs and connect into the back of the headlamps. Check the back of your polo lamps to familiarise yourself with them, then go hunting.

If you want some precise pics, my homemade loom is unhooked at the mo as one of my lamp inserts broke so I can take some photos later.

Just found the pic I was thinking of courtesy of Alex's Foglamp FAQ

IMO one of the best FAQ's on the site, not a single thing left out. Check it here --> fogs
