For some reason the sub in my car has started making a noise when the headunits off! its been fine for about 3 months when i 1st fitted my new headunit.

its basically in time with the running noise of the engine?

tried a few things like running the cables down each side of the car. even put some new cable in for the amp, but still getting the feedback from the sub.

can anyone help??

I'm guessing its you are earthing mate... find a new spot

Do you have Good RCA Leads??? and are these running down one side of the car away from the power lead?

Thata what i had to do! replace the standard shitty ones for some Good ones!

yeh the rca's arent bad an there running down the opposite side of the car, and its earthed to the earthing point in the boot near rthe rear light.

i think ill buy a new rca cable!
