How do u take off the standard gear knob and put and aftermarket 1 on?

theres alot of these type of questions going about at the moment mate but if the search function was used they wouldnt need to keep being asked...

the gaiter is elasticated, pull it up and over the top of the gear knob so it is inside out!

thewn there is a kid of circlip with a flat egde, if you get a flat head screwdriver just prise it slightly to loosen it and then twist the gear knob and it will pull off! 8-)
