Check out This Post for info on how to do the rub strips.

I would like to know how to get the doorcards off to :D

To remove the doorcard firstly you need to get a flat screwdriver and pry the bottom plastic of the grab handle.

Once you pop that off there will be 2 big flathead screws to remove unscrew that and put them somewhere.

Then remove the doorpin by simply twisting it.

Around the part near the wing mirror there is some black plastic carefully pry that bit off too with screw driver or something.

It may take a bit of force so be carefull not to snap it.

After that there is plastic poppers all the way around the door cards edge you should be able to just un-pop them all and the doorcard will come off.

Note: If you have manual windows you will need to remove the winder arm before the doorcard will come off. Not sure how to do that tho as mine are electric shouldnt be too much hassle though...

Thnk u! :-D

Just to let you know, that you don't actually have to take off the little bit of plastic at the mirror in order to get the door card off, the door card will come off even if you leave it on.

However if you did want to take it off, it is actually fastened in place by two clips, which can be unclipped by applying pressure to them. In other words, stick your fingers up the inside of the little black plastic bit, and press inwards on the clips towards the center, and after a bit of fidgeting it should come off. 8-)

anybody know how to get the winder arm off a car that hasn't got electric windows?

the body of the winder should have a small plate on it, you can lift it off with a small screwdriver and there should be one screw holding the winder body to the door...

mine has a black ring that u slide away from the winder in the opposite direction along the doorcard and it jsut pops off , I've heard alot of people having trouble with this hope it helps

Yea that part was easy lol. The glued on insulation was a bitch though.
