can never hav to much braking power.

plus it looks so much better than drums.

Depends how much power your running

most g40s that are left seem to be running fine with drums and there doesnt seem to be many std engined ones like mine left, so idont think power is that significant, unless your running 1.8t or vr6 power. its deffo a looks thing. hell i'd love rear disks but it makes more sense to upgrade the fronts, as they deal with most of the braking if your doing it for the performance upgrade.

I don't think there is such thing as overkill with brakes! and discs on the back do look so much better

yeah rear discs look the buisness,,,its something ill be doing very soon.

My handbrake was crap with drums though, they looked ugly and servicing them was a pain. Discs FTW.

just to say I'm already process of uprating the front brakes n obviously the rears dont do alot of breaking. and yes its more of a show thing for the discs.

but does any one really know whether the dscs are interchange able???

i reckon the rear discs of an ibiza are probably the same... the mk5 polo stuff is almost the same as mk4 golf stuff jus with fewer bolt holes

i know the cars are basicaly the same, it just doesnt seem worth it buying the wrong parts n I'm sure thers a guide on here somewere of the conversion. quite simple job is it not?
