Long term reader, but don't really post that much, thought it was a chance to show what my car looks like. Bought it in December and have done a few wee things since then. One lady owner from new with full VW service history, spare wheel still even in the plastic.

12 weeks after getting my wheels and a lot of hoo-ing and haa-ing about whether they were the right wheels for the car and a set of wrong adapters courtesy of H&R [thanks to Phill at JK's for sorting that out] eventually got my wheels on. Pics make the car look a lot higher than it is and the front needs to come down a bit if only I could find my C spanners. Lower et means they really fill the arches and no scrubbing at all which is a bonus.

i don't know yet about the mirror cases, if i'm going to do anything they'll be gloss black rather than silver.

i had thought about it mate but it would be too much hassle to keep them clean and at the minute i think it looks really well with silver on silver to be honest. Lowered it another 15mm during the week, think it sits pretty perfect now.
