i got a couple of horns in the garage, not sure what one i want yet, maybe both.., but i was wondering what goes into wireing them up. how do i do it?

Pull the wires off the old one and stick them on the new one. Tap connector or something for a few in parrallel.

The standard wiring isn't really up to running more than 1 horn

You need to run a new positive lead(with inline fuse) from the battery all connected up using a relay

I'm running 3 horns at the moment, got another 1 to go on

^^ haha, what horns are they? i got a cow horn and one of those OOGAH horns (OOGAH being the noise it kinda makes)

They're not legal on cars made after 1940-something. So they're best put on a separate switch and the existing horn set up left in place.

They are, however, immensly funny, I've got one somewhere.

yeah, that's what I'm planning on doing, runnig it on its own switch. so i stil lhave my original car horn, but a novelty horn(s) for fun

I have three snail-shell horns connected to the original feed (low,low-med,high). Works well enough,but they have to be wired on a ring circuit or they'll fight. So positive loom wire to positive on first horn,negative from that horn to positive on second horn,negative from second horn to positive on third horn,negative on third horn connects to negative loom wire. Nice little circle,each horn gets star treatment.
