I owned this car for over a year, unfortunately sold it last summer and miss it loads, the power and handling was spot on. However i thought it was time to move on to pastures new and thought it was about time to get my own insurance policy so had to downgrade power wise eventually :( .( I had a williams 2 for a month afterwards ) Then came a Golf mk3 Gti 8v and finally the polo.

Wheels and Tyres: 15" Williams wheels refurbed in rover gunmetal grey by myself

Exterior Styling: Smoked side repeaters, extra splitter on rear bumper, front and rear badges sprayed black

Interior Styling: None

ICE and Security: Sony CD Player, Toad alarm/immob

looks very tidy mate, there was one on edition38 that was on mattig steels (that i bought) and it looked sick, i like the clio valvers, and the williams = tres rapide

Yeah that belonged to a lad called winston if its the same one, silver with orange mattigs, crazily low Bought a set of Borbet C's off him which i had on the valver for a while

Also had a vr6 splitter on it for a while, until it had an argument with a speed bump

yeh winston's wheels, orange they looked sick,

prefer the gunmetal coloured wheels mate, better than the C's

Yeah the borbets were just a stop gap until i got the other wheels. I was never sure on the vr6 splitter, had to try it though! The lines matched in with the grills well, was just a tad too deep for my liking :)

my mate has had atleast 10+ 16v clios he loves them, hes doing a williams 2 turbo conversion at the moment!

That's a NICE Clio mate!! I always fancied getting a 1.2RN or something cheap from the same year as my first motor, my mate had one which was reasonably nippy, but I figured I would need the 16V front bumper and bonnet vent plus alloys to make it look like something!! So I deciding to go for an ultra lowwwwwww Polo, but that is a beauty!! I could talk for ireland lol.

EDIT: Are those standard 16V arches wider than the RN's etc?

Yeah the front and rear arches on a valver or williams are both wider than a normal clio. The rear ones are metal and flared the fronts are plastic and flared as standard, gives a much wider appearance to the car The 16v rear bumpers have to be trimmed slightly to fit the lesser models as they are also wider. Idealy to replicate a valver front end you'd need the bonnet with the bulge, the bumper and the wings. :-)
