my heater/fan constantly blows through hot air. ie when i adjust to cold thier is no change in temperature, any ideas??

mk3 polo heaters are a bit crap, theres not much you can do about them! cold in the winter and hot in the summer

Your lucky you can get constant heat mate mine just dfo qhat they want and they only work on setting 3 ! I dont know .. there only heaters though i supose i can do without ..

yep got the same thing.

Took the control panel out the other day and realised turning the heater control actually did nothing (the cable no longer moved).

Slid the cable back to a colder setting and that has helped much. Have to take it all apart again though when winter comes and I want the heating on...

Thats your heater resister pack thats fooked. Two minute job to replace infact theres a guide on here some where. Get down to Albert looms and get one.

Also if the temp control doesnt work then the cable has probally just come off some where. Mine had come off at the actual switch when i got the car.
