Window trim

Featured Replies

I started fitting my new front passenger window on my mk4 polo today and it was all going ok until I put the seal/trim thing back on. I hadn't realised that the bottom of the trim had metal in it and I think I bent it a bit, is it worth trying to bend it back or do I just need a new one?

well yeah lol. i always notice this on mk3's where the windows been out and the seals come off and when its been removed its been prized up making it a curve. when you bend it back its fucked like yours. one of mine was like this and i had to buy a new one. about 15 quid i paid. no idea for a mk4 though.

its how you take them off. prize them progressively along the whole length of the rubber seal lifting bit by bit.
