Hi peops i have a red 1.o polo 6N which has light smoke tinted windows, the rear currently has 16v smoked lights and looks quite nice against the tinted out windows, I was thinking of buying some smoked hella L.E.Ds or the clear/smoked 6n lights, OR maybe getting a set of RED mk5 lights instead, not sure which would look best? And if you guys have any pics of your tail lights can you post them up so i can have an idea of what they may look like.

And does anybody know if the 6N2 L.E.D lights need a bulb holder like the standard mk5 lights to go onto a mk4 6n? Or are 6n L.E.Ds straight plug and play??? ps pic is kinda outta date lol

Easy Gugz your car looked hectic man its funny cos it looked just like what i had in store for mine lol i noticed you already got the smoked hellas on the rear of yours, are they the 6n or 6n2 hella LED lights? is there even any difference between the two? at the mo i'm thinking of going for a set of 6n2 standard red lights...cant make my mind up though lol Anyway next time i see you i'll come and say hello, didnt know where you went last time wanted to get a pic of our polos side by side, would've looked phat!! p.s how low is your polo it looked properly Decked man!! Lovin it!!!

lol dude...you dont want your car as low as mine with that front bumper on, i cant even go up small ramps an dips in the road without smackin it, had to have all the fibreglass rebuilt at the bottom an reinforced cos i smashed both corners off twice

mine are the 6n2 hella LED lights, not too sure on the difference.. send Amit a PM as he had the 6N ones on his old polo

if you get the 6n2 ones, you just gota do abit of wiring work on one side, and a bit of grinding to get them sitting flush

lol seeeeen, my front bumpers hit the tarmac a couple of times already by the looks of it by the previous owner but i'm gona change the bumper for a smooth look one later on and stick a pair of sideskirts on, some next deep dish wheels and deck it more or go up a size in rims and thats it job done for me cos i want to make it to suit my own tastes as i bought it the way it is if you know what i'm saying. By the way do the 6n2 lights come with everything included or did you need to get the mk5 bulb holders as well? Might be a stupid question lol but i'm asking cos some lights you buy are just different coloured lenses that you clip on if you know what i mean!!!

depends where you buy them from man

if you buy them second hand, sometimes the seller will sell them with the bulb holders, sometimes not, but obviously they'l lower or higher the price accordingly

brand new from euro/VW/gsf, the lights dont come with bulb holders an have to be bought seperatly from VW, think they're about 10 quid each

Ahh man that is a wicked pic thanks for that Taylor :-D the only problem is now i cant decide which looks better , its deffo a close choice between the two...I'm liking the mk5 lights but maybe too much red on mine and the smoked would go with the tinted windows on mine....hmmm decisions decisions lol

Does anybody know where can i get mk5 bulb holders from? already tried my local scrappy and german and swedish but no luck, german and swedish said the lights and holders come as one and not seperately?? i found that a bit strange Anyone got some for sale?? PM me if you have
