Iff you get the arches rolled shouldnt be too bad ..

Would be fine with 3 passengers .. anymore is a no go really ..

I have a 40 drop with no scrubage at all..

has anyone got a pic of the side of their car with 195/50/15 tyres n dropped either 40mm, 50mm or 60 mm so i can get a rough idea on how much to lower my car because am very tempted to lower 60mm but everyone is sayin it will rub so i was thinkin maybe 50mm but some people have been sayin 40mm so if any one has pics that would be great

also i have just started thinking, because everyone is saying a 60mm drop will rub mainly on the back, so what i was thinking was to lower the front 60mm but lower the back 40mm, has anyone else done this, but what you think ??

just change your tyres, thats what I had to do

195/50/15 btw on a 40mm

195/45/15 on 60mm drop

195/45/15's, lowered 80mm

is that seriously lowered 80mm because that doesnt look that low i mean like it looks like the wheels aint even touchin da arch if you kno wa i mean

oh n also was gona ask do you get any scrubbage from that

That was taken straight after the lowerage, now she's settled she is noticably lower (keep meaning to update the pics), as for scrubbing, hell yeah, no more than three people in the car, person in the back has to sit in the centre. Front bottoms out occasionely when cornering to aggresively.

Then don't lower more that 40mm, at the end of the day it is your car you have to do what you want, yet I was in the same boat as you and ended up changing the tyres, your best bet it to buy coilovers and set it for what you have at the moment and when you change your tyres get lower profile tyre

Put it this way, I had my father in law in the back of the car with a mate in the front, going over speed ramps was first gear, 5 miles an hour and she scrubbed on the way down the ramp. I can't say for sure on a tyre with a profile of 50, chances are it will scrub worse than mine, I'm trying to get a set of 195/40/15's in the hope this will help. Raising the car is not an option, at all!!!!!! :lol:

Cheers matey, got em off ebay, but have since been told that any bodyshop could have done them just like that
