which type/colour/length - other bits will I need? I am getting 16cm speakers and i have been told i just need crimpers, then someone else said i have to replace the wiring. whats the best method for a rookie car bodger

get some wire and a crimping kit (should include crimp tool and a selection of crimps) you can then use the wire to make a small loom, one end will plug into the std speaker connector and the other end plugs into the speaker. this way you retain the oe speaker connectors thus making it easier to put back to std should you wish to.
