HI!!

Heres some really quick pictures and specs of my 6N Polo project. Sorry theres so few photos at the minute and that there such poor quality. I will be making up a build thread soon, I hadnt the time to do one as I went along and will soon have loads of pics as it was built, the parts, the people etc...

Its been a real budget car as I'm broke and in college..

Enjoy looking... I've done 99% of the work myself except welding and spraying..

FULL SPEC LIST BELOW:Exterior:

16V Front Bumper – Upper side grills and toeing eye smoothed

Colour coded front oem splitter

16V Rear Bumper – Toeing eye smoothed.

Crystal PowerLook Front Headlights

Crystal Front indicators to match headlights.

6000k HID Kit

Custom Bad-boy bonnet with washer jets deleted

Washer jets relocated to scuttle panel.

Bonrath badgless front grill.

Crystal side indicators

Side bump strips deeted

All Red rear lights

Smoothed boot – All badges and handle

Solenoid fitted to boot running from rear wiper switch

Rear wiper removed and Cult Society blanking plate fitted.

Shortened original B-sting ariel.

Hawk remote central locking kit fitted.

German Style pressed metal reg plates

White LED rear numberplate lights.

All new bodyparts resprayed original black and the whole car professionally moped to repair faded paint.

Tinted Rear 3 windows (Dark…ish)

Front passenger side delocked (using rear door handle)

Evo coilovers set bout 70mm lower (Guesstimate)

Borbet Type T alloy wheels – Rears are 14x8”

Fronts are 14x7”

Brake callipers and rear drums painted black.

Uniroyal Rainsport tyres all round 195/45/14

Engine:

1 Litre 8V approx 210 bhp (its me first car an I'm in college)

Serviced Regularly

Cheap induction kit with homemade metal heatshield sprayed black

Full Powerflow custom stainless exhaust made with decat pipe and hidden “TDI” style backbox.

Interior:

Audi TT Black Leather Front Seats (working on getting heaters working)

Carpet taken out and fully shampooed and cleaned

All plastics colour coded gloss black (33 pieces and counting)

Wolfsburg Edition Chrome heater control dials

Chrome Gear stick Surround

Chrome Door pulls and Door pins

Chrome Gearknob

Audi TT Pedals

Chrome door sills

Lockwood White Dial Kit (1 of about 10 specially made in group buy for late 99 spec 8V Polos)

Custom made Gauge pod fits under airbag on passenger side (hold 3 gauges)

Custom made Phone holder instead of Driver side Air-vent

Custom rear Parcel Shelf made from 18mm thick MDF covered in black carpet and leather. Has Perspex VW crest in the centre and holds two 6x9s. Crest and speakers illuminate up when the boot is open with blue LEDs in the roof panel above.

ICE:

The car used to be jam packed with ICE however I sold the majority of it to fund the other parts on the car.

It used to have a Screen built into the dash

A silver slimline PS2 built into the drivers side glovebox with the playstation controller ports were built into the dash under the heater controls

A colour camera with nightvision in the front grill.

2 amps

A 10” Sub in ported custom enclosure

4 6x9’s (2 in custom passenger footwell box, 2 on rear parcel shelf)

6 different headunits which included various MP3 playing units with touchscreen control etc.

At the minute it has the following – Alpine CD/MP3 Headunit

Sony 10cm Speakers upgraded on top of dash

Pioneer 140watt 6x9s on rear shelf.

12” sub in ported box with in side of boot

Its perfect sound... I asked for it very quiet. Nice burble on start up and idle and a throatier roar through the gears... Expensive but lovely welds..

Heres a few more pics from outside... Bear in mind its wound up for going into the garage and the back coilovers aint fitted yet

Its a very complicated piece of engineering that.. Ill have a better pic up soon. Its the vent taken out... flattened with a saw, a Wooden piece bonded on, some fibregalass, some filler, a dash of paint... and then the technical bit - VELCRO... Lol.. These college students are crafty buggers...

Ha... ye sure its the 8 valve model lad... Plus its got an induction kit and full exhaust... I said approx.... LOL

Ha... twas only a auld joke.. Its puttin out the normal power. The mods I've doen have made no difference in my opinion.. Only noise. Ye Ill get more pics up soon..Cheers
