I seem to remember (from when a friend did it waaay back) that side repeaters are not required if the front indicators are also visible from the side, is this correct?

So would a mk3 with no side repeators pass MOT?

i heard that too, a few of my friends have taken theirs off as they have got special wider lights....you would need to check with the garage.

it depends on the mot guy, some will pass them others wont. i tinted my side repeaters in body colour cos i was too tight to buy some clear ones, never failed its mot even though they are hardly visible now!
