hi there every one i curent;y have a mk2 loon and there is rust in the doors ,petrol cap bit on the lights the usual realy so am wantin to paint it , was just thinkin about matt black rattle cans iv heard its been done many time with not a bad finish but i can get hold of a spay gun and i have a compresser so was just wondering if any 1 nos how matt paint works ?

dose it need a clear coat of laquer

If you can get the matt paint cheap enough then use a gun...if not just primer and rattle can top coat should do....

might be better to use a compressor and gun with matt lacquer but a lot of people don't use it...we have it at work but it's aircraft spec so not sure where from..try movac or ask a local bodyshop.
