Micra

My brother recently passed his test so we needed to shop for a first car. After playing around on Photoshop we came up with this ...

So we bought this ...

Which admittedly looked rough as fook, however we were able to see past that. Under the 'leather' the interior was filthy. However after a word with the friendly Polish blokes at the local carwash, they soon had the seats out and the whole car looking as good as new. They even jet washed the engine, and all for £40.

Had the wheels lying around from when I had my Lupo, which jamakabi1 has now purchased ...

Yes. Had it done on a few cars without engine covers. Hasn't caused any problems so far.

I saw this on sunday in E38 Looks good! just needs a healthy Drop!

you know the saying you cant polish a turd...

well imagine polish is a set of ronals and the turd in a micra... enough said

i did see this at e38 and thought.... err why!

That looks sweet! I'm a big fan of the Humble micra

My thoughts exactly. Those rims could be put to better use! Jap + Euro = a NO GO!

Never been a big fan of the micra but thats the tidiest one iv seen ever i believe. Lower it and try make the front look a bit less cute and girly and you will be onto a winner :)

Looks alright for a micra!

It reminds me of someone at sixth form, this guy was a racing driver cant remember what he raced but was fairly handy and his dad ran a VW garage.

So he ended up buying a G40 for his first car, pretty mint but standard never let rip in it though cos he didnt wanna get in any trouble being a racing driver and all.

Anyway 2 months later he and his parents realised that they could afford the insurance, so he got a mint 1 litre micra, how we laughed!

He did try to tell us that it was fast cos it was a 16v, still a 1 litre tho!

I was gonna add the comment it's still a Micra whether it has Turbos or not... But everyone else has already.

At least you've gone a unique way with it. Most of the fuckers on here have cars that all look the same so good on you.

ignore all the negative coments,

it's a first car at the end of the day and it looks a hell of a lot better than my first car.

at least your trying something different and not following the rest of the sheep on here.

But wasn't it the japs that did the whole, low, negative camber, dishy rims thing back in the 70's and 80's?

Slightly wrong wheels,as they're too racy - which isnt a look that suits the car. But its nearly there -Schmidts would work. Classy split rim version of the same design. Could form a bit of an intellectual/posh birds car,but it'd work well with any metallic facelift Micra that shape.

Looks better than any micra ever, this of course not being a compliment you understand!! These wheels could make any cack car look wkd, i think a big drop and some smoothing/colour coding would improve the looks no end

Looking at the pic below, I have to say that the wheels suit it, so, so much! I really do like the look of it. It would look even better if it was a tad lower and it was made to look a bit meaner with somekind of splitter or something.
