You applying for inside at UD next year?

Too right mate! Not sure when the applications open though?

You have to apply mate!!!!!!

Just been on the website, it's still the 2010 site, so it won't be for a while yet. Think it's usually November.

Some packages today :)

Will be needing this for a few polishing jobs - engine, wheels and strut brace

Also, 2 metres of 3M Di-Noc carbon arrived, will be using this as soon as the car comes home!

Cheers Neil, I'm not doing the wheel faces with this, it's too rough, I have Megs for that. It's for the inside of the bolt holes, gonna attack them with some wet and dry with some Autosol as they weren't polished to the same level as the rest of the wheels :)

8-)

This is lookng awsome, cant wait for an update!

cheers will get an update on monday, maybe tomorrow

Revealing it anywhere this year?

Did you really need SIX iphones?

As much as i like the idea of smoothed handle recess things. I can see it being a right pain in the ass to open the door lol as theres no room to get your mits in.

For the family haha!

There is a slight bit of room mate. As the handles don't sit completely flat on the door even with the recess smoothed as they are slightly curved. You can't get your whole hand behind the handle but you can still easily grab them :)

Plus, whenever I am thinking of mods, I always kind of neglect practicality haha!

Its a incy wincy bit of room though, I saw thingys (bugger me i cant remember his name) white 6n on allycats whose done the same.

You kinda have to grab it at the top n bottom to grip it to open. I'd get well angry with it being like that haha. Cant actually get your fingers down the gap.

i like it being tidy...atleast now i can just see whats going on with the car instead of reading pages of ranting...

Indy- seen that handle trick on a mk3 at UD this year, pretty cool...i was thinking of the same but not entirely sure i'll stick with mk4 handles. 8-)

just noticed you smoothed behind the handles indy. love it but it does get tedious constantly gripping the edge of the handle to open it lol.

keep up the work man :D

Cheers man,

I don't drive the car too often so it should be okay!

The problem with me is that I always think of practicality after looks, which isn't always advisable haha!

BTW, I have a new interior trimmer now after being fucked over by my old one, now it should all be done in like a week, not 6 months!

Bodywork is coming on nicely, but is taking forever as I didn't realise how many parking dings there actually were along the sides of the car!

the joys of bodyshops ffs. hence why i do my own work. looking forward to this interior. it better be good :ninja:
