Got the car back today!

Was very happy, still a couple of touches still need doing but they'll get done later.

Smooth sills - jack points smoothed along with the textured sealant stuff

Smooth door handle recesses and de-locked handles

IMG_0099.jpg

Smooth weld seams

IMG_0101.jpg

Smooth wings

Also wrapped the roof in 3M Di-Noc Carbon, took absolutely ages, and even then it was far from perfect, but we'll see how it looks in the daylight tomorrow.

If I'm not happy I'll get it done professionally because I'm not paying for another 100 quids worth of vinyl to just fuck it up again.

Excellent work, I've always wanted to see the rear weld and textured sills smooth, looks good. make sure you get sime pics of the wrapped roof :)

its all in the detail

Looks fresh ind.

Cheers bud!

I will do tomorrow mate, I'll give the car another clean and get some shots!

The roof is perfect apart from an area above the drivers door which got a bit bitty/wrinkly :(

Was really annoyed about that, it is barely noticeable, it is only when a focused light hits it, so gotta be swift in petrol stations at night haha!

BTW, door handles are a nightmare.

Almost fell into the car earlier because I thought I had grip of the handle but I didn't.

Will take some getting used to!

Handles

The wheels are actually mirror polished, I've not had them powder coated in black, although it seems that way because I'm lazy :retard:

8-)

subtle, I like.

Although you don't use the jack enough, it's still red, the yellow handle is still on and none of your idiotic mates have left it out overnight.

looks great dude...i like the detailed pics you've taken, gives me ideas on how to take pics of mine as i dont have a good write up and i've done everything almost...

Invest in a low entry jack mate...i paid £90 for mine delivered off ebay years ago and its great!! no need to drive onto wood.

Mine is this one:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/CLARKE-SADDLE-ALUM...Y/dp/B0036UWMRK

How are you getting on with the rest of the carbon wrapping of parts? 8-)

detailing is awesome...

and a million times better without the square plate on the front

Not sure if i like the handles, i think its one of them mods you have to see in person :-) rest is cool though, and paint looks great 8-)

Whats that spider web looking pattern thing on the outer sill area in the first pic? is it a reflection of something? i think i can make out the reflection of a bottle??? but not sure what the wiggly thing is

Cheers, I need a new jack now, this one broke yesterday!

Only time the jack ever gets used is when the steels go back on.

Cheers mate, I need a low entry jack, because I broke the trolley jack yesterday this is the perfect time for me to invest in one!

The roof wrapping didn't go amazingly, there were a few small imperfections, so if I find it bugs me too much I'll have to have it re-done but properly this time.

I'm gonna get started on wrapping other bits as soon as possible! Just got a few things to take car of first (new bulbs and no power to the amps since coming out).

Cheers, yeah I can't believe I ever used to have that square plate, what was I thinking

Handles will take a while to get used to :)

I think the spider thing is just a blemish of polish residue, it's all over the car because I didn't have a chance to give it a wipe down.

Well worth the wait mate, gorgeous!
