With difficulty mate, the car is that low now, but with 14's not 13's.

It's actually annoying driving and I can't wait to get rid of this car next year! It's the sad truth :(

Why don you put some bigger wheels on then? no point making it look the dogs if you hate driving it because your rims are too small and have too much drop! (yes people I said it! Too much drop! Haha) I generally run mine slightly higher for day to day then wind them down for meets etc!

Was thinking of some 16" BBS RS' but I really can't be bothered changing wheels again after spending ages and loads of money getting these sorted.

It's winter soon anyway so some 15" winters can go on!

Ah 16" would look sweet! Maybe pick up something cheap an give them the inderpal treatment!! You'd make most of your money back on the rotas wouldn't you?!? Seem to be alot of fans of them!

I told you 14's were a mistake :ninja:

15's FTW :p :p

Fine in Birmingham, roads in Leeds are terrible!

They'll be coming off next month anyway until March so that'll be fine!

dude iv just been sat with my gob open for the past 15-20 mins looking through your build thread .

i like your style but the question has to be asked - what on earth do you do for a living to afford all of this + have a house like that !? LOL

in the meen time keep up the good work dude :)

Cheers mate, well the house isn't mine it's my parents :)

I don't do anything major for a living, I've finished uni a few months back but not got a proper job yet.

I help my parents out at their business but that's only £50 a week so it all goes on petrol and general dicking around like KFC visits etc.

Most of my income to spend on myself and my car comes from a little online business I've been building up over the last couple of years.

I'm also helping a family member set up a business across the U.K. which also provides a little income :)

Plenty of plans mate :)

- I've got ALOT of engine and interior detailing do.

- My retrim is coming to an end now.

- Custom seat subframes are being made up to get my seats on the floor

- Got some bits in the bodyshop which are being done whilst I'm on holiday next week

- GTI projector headlamps

Then I think that's it, 4 year project finished 8-)

project finished???? =O really?? what engine you running in this? surely project finished would be to upgrade that and truly complete the car with something worthy??

Well to some people it might not be finished, but engine conversions aren't for me.

Can't warrant spending money on potentially making the car un-reliable and worse still the conversion alone would go a long way to my next car.

For me to do what I want with this car, I don't need an engine conversion. I'm just going to detail the bay.

Also, forget ripping out all the dashboard again after I've just spent thousands having the whole interior retrimmed, car would end up a right mess!

My next car will be an R32, GTI, A3 so I'd rather save the power for a car that was made for it.

Ah rite cool =D

so this ones about style and the next one will be about power??? =D defo think the R32 would be the top choice though =D absolutely loved that black mk4 in PVW with the fully smoothed bay =D

Well, this one is definitely about style I'm not sure about the next one bud.

MK5 R32 would be my first choice, but insurance could make me end up with a 2.0TDI 170 A3, but that won't exactly be slow with a few engine mods.

The next car will be on air, have a retrim and etc etc but I want it all to seem OEM. For example I want to mount subwoofers and amplifiers behind door cards and I want the air tank and compressors to be mounted in the spare wheel well so when you open the boot it looks completely normal.

I do a lot of city driving right now, as I am working for a few different people at different offices and driving round in my car is just annoying.

I just want to be able to put my foot down and go!

The problem with my car is that you have to WANT to drive it, it is very annoying when you HAVE to drive it for example when you just need to get to your next destination.

Of course I could easily overcome that problem by raising the car but it would look gay haha! Roll on 15" winter wheels!

totally agree with the things said above. it makes driving a chore when its shit weather or horrid roads.

drives when its sunny is fun and makes you appreciate the hard work. early mornings in the freezing ice and shitty roads i hate it!

pretty much why I'm selling up :?

Ha very similar reasons to why I'm looking at getting a Bora plus the fact that I'm getting older and fancy a bit of luxury lol

Indy, any pics of the interior before you go on holiday

Same here mate, that's the reason I'm selling up.

I'm being honest here, if I hadn't just spent so much money on having the interior done and bodywork done, then the car would already have been up for sale. I've actually got the money to buy my next car already but it would be stupid to do so after all the money I've just spent on the Polo, so it's gonna go up for sale around June time, because I reckon it'll take me a good couple of months to sell!

Constantly having Ed go on about how amazing it is having a decent interior and comfort makes me want it even more!

I'll have to get pictures when I get back, it'll be done by then.

I made the mistake of getting it done on the cheap and it showed with the quality of work so now I've got a proper place doing it now, and fitting everything etc.

Can't wait!

You best come to the first dub pres after it's finished dude, need a look round this 8-)

I'll be there, never been before

Indy, you got any of those stubby ariels left?

Also, what audio stuff you running? I want to be able to have 1 12" sub, tweeters mounted in the A pillers. I have a 6n and I dno whether the 6n2 is the same but has speakers in the dash and the doors?

If the components come with tweeters where do I mount the component speakers, dash or door? and do I leave the other one just without anything in?

What sub have you got aswell to run all the stuff you have? and what are like the basic specs of your audio equipment?

sorry for all the questions ha

Mannnnn, it's looking sooo nice, literally, i just suggest new photos. Get them HDR's again :p!

Looking to get a 6n2 this colour!!
