2006 polo suspension

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Hope you guys are well. You may know the issues I am having with my 1.4 s Auto on the other general forum. Just a question on the suspension. I find the suspension is quite noisy. The gas discharge on the right side in particular is very evident. VW have changed the wishbones, the consol bushes, but still the same. I know when your driving you will the suspension working, but my noises are evident on the smallest of bumps and cracks on the road. It's like gas discharge with a slight flutter, it is hard to explain.

Anyone else had similar issues? Vw seem to think characteristics, but I have a feeling that this is not right.

Look forward toyour views.

Regards

Nick

Hi, I know this post is old, but have you found a fix for your noisy suspension? I've got a 2009 Polo 1.4 with the same problems, but on the left side, I think the hissy noise is from the rear suspension. No leaks or knocking noises. Car handles well and is under warranty, but I try to avoid garages if possible.

Cheers

Neil
