I want my seats and front door cards retrimming in black leather ..

I am in the process of making a board to cover the back up as i have no seats and that would need doing too.

I am not looking to get a set of Recaro buckets i want to keep it all looking slighty standard but i think the seats will look aswome in a leather trim ..

It will only have to be one colour as i have a full black interior at the mo alreaddy and i like the whole dark look to the car inside .. Most people go for cream or white ..

Were abouts can i get this done ?? What kind of prices do you think i will be looking at ..

I have a Mk3 Polo .. I need 2 front doorcards doing .. 2 Seats ..

I am contemplating this but i believe this will be rather over my budget ..

i was looking at a website yesterday and they charge in the region of 300 per seat to retrim. i must admit I'm considering diy'ing a set. my plan was to take the seat apart, remove the covers and pull the stitching out and use them as templates, cut new fabric then try and persuade either my girlfirend or my mum to stich the new ones up! having removed the rear seat covers it doesnt look as difficult as many people make it out to be. it still wont be cheap as fabric to do it all will be expensive.

Dosent sound cheap at all ..

At that kinda price it will be cheaper to retrofit some seats from anther car

Might have to go a scrappy and try loads of seats from difrent cars in the polo ..

Just cut the brakets from the car and weld them to the polo after removing the existing brackets ..

I know people use TT seats dont they ...

That way i can just get the doorcards done ..

Dosent matter about space really as i have no rears anyway just the width to contend with ..

i had some corado seats in my gt, they wernt leather but they are the most comfortable seat ever!! i think you can get em in leather too!!

I am getting the boot smoothed with no lock and resprayed the day before the derby meet this mnth ..

Might get my front bumper done also with a few of the holes filled in ..

I would probabbly have to wait till next month ...

Budget i dont really know .. depends on the seats really I'm willing to pay £100 a seat for the fronts dont need rear ones .. I might aswell get new ones iff there gonna cost £200 each ..

Thing is i have to make a false floor and get some leather to coat that in aswell to keep the feel throughout the car ..

mate i made my false floor its easy!! get down b n q get some mdf ... then go dunelm get leather ... i would use carpet tho coz if you chucking shit in and outta boot the leather will get ripped and scuffed!! IMO

as for the rallye interior its half leather and her wants 550 for it maybe a bit outta price range!!
