just bought my daughter a 1050 cc m reg polo and the petrol tank is leaking

been to ssvg web site to look for a tank and they list two

this is what they list as far as i can work out it is single point carb model did they do a multi point version of this engine as i want to order the correct tank engine code is aau it has a electric fuel pump in the rear help please

you want the injection tank. An M reg polo 1 litre has single point injection. The 1990 and earlier polos (with round lights) were the last to have carbs.
